26th Annual Women Race (Frederiksted)
The 26th Annual Women Race will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2010 in Frederisted, The race begins at 5:00 p.m. with a 2 mile course throughout the town of Frederiksted. Traditionally, approximately 500 women join together to support our mission to end all forms of violence. Pre-registration will begin on May 17th at the Women’s Coalition office and at Closet to Closet. Pre-registration for other sites will take place on Saturday, June 5th and 12th at the following locations:
K-Mart East & West: 10 a.m. to 12 noon
Frederiskted Post Office: 10 a.m. to 12 noon
Christiansted Library: 10 a.m. to 12 noon
Stamina Sports: 10 a.m. to 12 noon

25th Annual Women Race Results (Sunday, June 1, 2009) Christiansted
Women race to history in Christiansted¦
Ruth Ann David, the top distance runner in the Virgin Islands defended her title in the 25th Annual The Women Race Sunday in Christiansted with a first place finish in 11:39 seconds. She led the race from the start which took the runners from the National Park on the waterfront to Canagata Park and a finishing loop on Company St., Times Square and NPS waterfront. It was a battle down King St. as hundreds of fans looked on as Mierille Smith of the St.Croix Track Club, former All-America middle-distance runner, took second place in 12:01 with Sanny Eugene, CARIFTA Gold Medal winner at 1500m and running for the St.Croix Educational Complex HS team right there for third in 12:04.
